Fall and Winter Events to Save

Friday, November 25th, 10am - College-Age brunch at the Craigs.  A chance to see your DPC friends during your short visit home.  There is no hidden agenda- Just some good 'ol fashioned hanging out!

Thursday, December 22nd, 6pm- annual College-Age Pizza Party and White Elephant Gift Exchange at the Craig's house. All you need to bring is a really bad, cheesy, or hilarious gift -nicely wrapped, of course- and some canned goods. The person with the most canned goods gets the best pick in the White Elephant!  All canned goods will be entered in the "Souper Bowl" at church. The rest is on us! Come for the food, but maybe not the gifts.

Wednesday-Thursday, Decemeber 28-29th- First Annual Jersey Shore Retreat (and polar bear swim).  Jacqui "Snookie" Richter and Art "Polar Bear" Shull are leading this 24 hour trip. The topic is decision making in a college environment. It will be fun, funny, and a chance to reconnect with your DPC friends (or perhaps make new ones!).  Meet at the DPC parking lot at 9am Wednesday, Dec 28th and return Thursday, Dec 29th, before dinner. Transportation is provided, but you can drive separately if you need to come late or leave early. Cost is only $20 a person. For planning purposes, we need to know who is coming ASAP.  Let Megan Craig or the church office know by Dec 18th.

Church Mouse Program

The College & Young Adult Committee is sponsoring an exciting program designed to keep our college students, who are away from home, connected to our church. If they choose to participate, each college student will be assigned a “church mouse.”

The mouse is a volunteer from our church family who will anonymously support their assigned student while they are away from home. The mouse can accomplish this task in a number of ways, such as sending cards or notes or small care packages throughout the academic year, and most importantly by praying for their student.  College students wishing to participate will complete a profile which will help the mouse learn of their interests and favorite small items. The student will not know the identity of their mouse until they graduate. Each mouse will follow their student for the duration of their college years. .

If interested in becoming a mouse, please contact the Church Mouse Coordinator, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Students, please complete this form at your earliest convenience.
